Growing Instructions

• Spacing: Plant 60cm apart to give each plant room to thrive.

• Positioning: Choose a sheltered but sunny spot for strong, upright growth.

• Watering: Keep well watered until established and during dry spells.

• Protection: Watch out for cabbage white butterflies — use fine netting or mesh to keep them away.

• Feeding: Apply a nitrogen-rich fertiliser midway through the season to boost sprout size and flavour.

• Support: As plants grow tall, stake them to prevent wind damage.

• Harvest Trick: Pick from the bottom upwards for a continuous supply of perfect sprouts.

• Frost Bonus: A light frost actually sweetens the flavour — so don’t rush to harvest them all at once!
